Fuzzy Logic
I’ve been sitting on these tracks for far too long. The original concepts were created almost an entire year ago. Since then, there’ve been constant revisions, to a fault – endless minor tweaks which I thought were improving the songs, but in reality just made them sound different, not necessarily better. Somehow I eventually grasped the wisdom to know the difference and decided to simply commit, upload and move on.
At the end of the day, it’s just music– I think most creatives, myself included, tend to overcomplicate and overthink to their own detriment. Every project is merely a timestamp of the creativity & technical knowledge of a given moment, it’s not what defines you forever. I’d rather progress through new projects than remaining stagnant, frustrated by misguided reiteration.
