This project features 10 songs produced (on a laptop on its last legs) while traveling throughout South America last year. Generally, each song was made while in a different country and was perhaps subconsciously inspired by the atmospheric sounds, vibe, and experiences in each place. Voice memos from loved ones helped me feel connected to a distant life back home, field recordings of bustling markets and noisy jungles provided for inspiring sonic textures.
So here they are, all ten tracks dumped onto one long cassette tape – an abstracted audio journal for a profoundly impactful personal journey, scoring various memories in each country that I’ll cherish forever.
